Source of Canadian pride: Our strong history of peacekeeping and trust building and that we can yet return to that once more.
Source of hope for the climate: The pockets of incredible passion, energy and innovation around the world tackling this problem that are each day growing, coalescing and getting stronger.
Filling The Hill for: A future where I won’t need to apologize on behalf of past generations to those yet born for not having acted when we knew what was at stake and exactly what we had to do.
C-Day: great day or the greatest day?: I’d say it’s the only day of the year that will be turned all the way to 11.

Source of Canadian pride: Multiculturalism!! I love that nobody “looks Canadian”. I love riding the subway and just looking around
Source of hope for the climate: All the people around the world that are dedicating their time to spread the word and make their voices heard. Not to mention the reality that if we don’t fix our planet, we’re all seriously screwed. So we don’t really have a choice.
Filling The Hill for: So my *future* children and the billions of not so fortunate people around the world have the chance to live in a world of relative peace and stability
C-Day: great day or the greatest day?: Certainly has the potential to be the greatest day. But that would require a monumental turnout in capital cities around the world that would pressure our leaders into completing a historic agreement in Copenhagen in December. I’m optimistic…
