As I write this, we are 82 days away from the climate talks in Copenhagen, where world representatives are expected to come up with a climate treaty that sets new binding targets on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Their decisions will significantly affect all of us and our descendants throughout this century and beyond. They better get this one right.
Let’s help them and, more to the point, the Canadian government do the right thing.
We’re going to do a little warm up to C-Day’s massive Ottawa rally Oct 24. Join Gracen, Aiden, Adam, myself and the gang for a little flashmob on Monday, Sept 21 at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. It’s part of AVAAZ’s and 350.org’s tcktcktick campaign, and one of hundreds of similar events happening world-wide.
